YaldaRaz explores the paradox of concealment as a form of revelation. Rooted in the Persian concept of zaher and baten—the outer and the inner—her work investigates the tension between the visible and the hidden. By obscuring the portrait, she invites a deeper engagement with the figure, revealing the complexity of the self through the lens of Persian artistic heritage.
